Your yarn, accounted for
A yarn stash app for the yarn you already love
The quick answer
Stashora is a yarn stash and inventory app for iPhone and iPad. Keep yarn photos, brands, colors, weights, skein counts, and available quantities together, alongside your knitting and crochet projects. Start a local inventory without a Ravelry account, or connect your account and review supported stash changes before syncing.

See what is in your stash before planning the next make
A yarn collection is easier to use when its photos and quantities are close at hand. Stashora’s stash view brings yarn photos, names, colors, and amounts into one place on your phone or tablet.
The stash view shows skein counts and available grams beside individual yarns. Keep quantities current after using part of a ball so that the next project starts with the stock you actually have.

Make full skeins and leftovers useful together
A partial skein can be enough for a cuff, trim, or small project, but grams alone are hard to compare with a pattern written in yards. Use the exact yarn label to estimate its remaining length, then compare that number with the pattern’s requirement.
For example, 35 grams of a yarn labeled 220 meters per 100 grams is about 77 meters. Our website tools can estimate that length and calculate the additional skeins to buy. The tools are separate from the app; record the result in your inventory or notes yourself.
Start locally, or bring your Ravelry stash along
You do not need a Ravelry account to organize yarn locally in Stashora. Your saved local stash is available offline, so you can consult it when your connection is unavailable.
If you already keep a stash on Ravelry, connect your account and inspect the supported import instead of immediately recreating every record. Stashora offers reviewed two-way stash and project sync: examine proposed changes and resolve conflicts before confirming. Connecting and syncing require internet access.

- Create local records, or review your existing Ravelry stash import if you already catalog there.
- Check photos, label details, and the quantities you actually have. Weigh partial skeins without their packaging.
- Choose one project and compare its requirement with the matching yarn that is available.
